The San Blas islands in Panama are home to the Kuna indians. Kuna women
wear a mola. Mola is the Kuna word for blouse. More specifically, the word
refers to the front and back panels of the blouses. Utilising a technique
called reverse appliqu, the women layer fabric and cut patterns, exposing
the underlying pieces of fabric.
